Here’s an old clip we just dug up from the Jordan Sterling memorial concert:
CV is dusting off the guitar cases and synthesizers and working on some new material for a spring time revival tour. If you haven’t already, like us on Facebook to get notified of upcoming badass shows like this one.
We had our 2nd pre-natal Strebel fan at this show – the last one was their other yet-to-be-born son Ethan at Sally’s baby shower. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our fans, both born and yet to be born, for your continued support.
This from our friends Josh and Sally’s baby shower. Not quite the mosh pit we were hoping for but we think Trent Reznor will be pleased with this G-rated version…
Thanks everyone who came out to the benefit concert for Teri last month. Y’all helped raise nearly $1000 for her and it covered exactly one chemo treatment at a critical time. I saw her the other night and she was thankful for everyone’s generosity. Here’s a video from one of the covers we did that night – Michael Jackson with a twist. Special thanks to PHX, Gabe Valentine and Prague for making an unforgettable night. See ya at the next one.
Hey everybody, our friend Teri is in the hospital fighting off cancer and pneumonia. Teri is a single mom. We’re holding a benefit concert for her with three other bands the night of January 21st at The Rogue Bar in Scottsdale. Cover is $5 and alll proceeds go to benefit Teri and help her cover bills.
We’ve got some stellar acts with us that night. PHX (formerly James Frey Band) is opening at 8pm. We’re on at 9pm. Gabriel Valentin (an awesome one-person act) is driving out from LA and playing at 10pm and local band Prague is on at midnight.
Come out for some good tunes, good friends and help support a good cause! If you’re on Facebook RSVP here and see who else is going.
Hey kids, here’s a live recording we did tonight of an original tune
of ours called Jaded. At 8m30s it’s an epic song but worth the wait.
Hope you like!
CV peeps: We’re doing a show to benefit the De Colores Shelter in Phoenix on Saturday Aug 20th 7:00pm at Sail Inn in Tempe. There are some great local bands playing after us. Apparently it turns into a toga party theme later in the evening (toga is completely optional but we’ll give schwag to anyone who wears one). RSVP on the Facebook Event page to see who else will be there. We have some new tricks up our sleeve song-wise so should be fun.
